about major cities population. Population of major Indian
cities include population of kolkata, population of Mumbai,
of Delhi, Chennai, and other important cities.
If we check census 2001 for Indian cities population,
we will find that Mumbai is the most populated
city in the country. The city ranks 3rd in the
world after Tokyo and Mexico. Kolkata is 9th and
Delhi 14th according to the US Census Bureau.
